| In spite of the fact that our Daysie has passed away 10 years ago, I still think about her… This is the story I wrote at May the 21, after our Daysie has fallen a sleep forever at 12.30
To My Beloved Daysie, Dear, dear Daysie how I miss you. In spite of the other six dogs I miss you. Because you were one of a kind. I miss you when I wake up in the morning to let me hug you. I miss you when you’re not waiting to let you brush. I miss your yelling when I brushed you even though I did it gently. I miss you while waiting for food, while waiting for something you liked to eat, and if it took too long according to you, you barked like an old lady, only you barked like that. I miss our snoring while laying on the cough, above my head. When I take the others for a walk outside, I suddenly remember you always waited long before pee-pee. I miss it when you weren’t that nice towards the others if they came anywhere near your food. And I’m going to miss the friendship between you and Kesley, when she raises her puppies alone now, I even miss the chewing in her hair, 6 years long you two were the greatest shih tzu friends. Never again running in the garden, walking around, last week I washed all the others, I’d rather washed an hour longer, if I only still had you! The gang: Gremley, Kesley, Daysie, Shuoning and Nino are forever incomplete. 6,5 years is too young to die. But I know you’ve loved your life here, we loved you! Dear Daysie, take your rest, and look down from above, I’ll always remember you. Thanks for our friendship, which only lasted 6 years. Your owner: Minie |

| When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER... |
